  Dick Dale was originally called Richard Anthony Monsour and was born in Boston in 1937. In the early 1960s, Dale created "Let's Go Trippin" in 1961, which was Dale's fifth single and the first surf rock music. In the second year, he combined with traditional Mediterranean music in the Middle East to create a unique musical style, creating the well-known "Miserlou", which is known as the most memorable guitar melody in rock music. 
In the 1962 album "Surfer's Choice", Dale also included an adaptation of the Bahamian folk song "Sloop John B". The Beach Boys later sang this song, and their version was included in the 1966 classic album "Pet Sounds".
