According to foreign media reports, the American Metal Orchestra Metallica just announced that in order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of the classic live album "S&M", they will cooperate again with the San Francisco Symphony .They hold a special commemorative performance called "S&M2".
The San Francisco Symphony had a famous performance with the Metallica in 1991. The Metallica and the conductor of the San Francisco Symphony,Michael Arnold Kamen,recorded two performances in Berkeley Community Theatre.Now, they will collaborate again in this upcoming commemorative performance of the Metallica.
It is understood that this commemorative performance will be the premiere of the Chase Center in San Francisco.At the same time, this venue will also be the new home of the NBA's well-known basketball team Golden State Warriors.
This year's announcement at the Chase Center included two core members of the metal band, James Hatfield and Lars Ulrich,conductor of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Michael Tilson, representative of the Golden State Warriors team and San Francisco Mayor London Breed.

The original "S&M" live album was composed by Michael Kamen, which was released to commemorate the Metallica's late bassist Cliff Burton, who loved classical music during his lifetime.After the release in the US, the total sales volume of S&M has reached five platinum, including songs such as "No Leaf Clover" which fans like very much. At present, the songs that the Metallica will perform in this year's performance have not yet been finalized.
